In celebration of International Literacy Day, we're sharing the going with story from Teach For Armenia—a moving instance of how, when given the direction, support, and opportunity they justify, children can flourish and contradict wants:

Right when Teach For Armenia Fellow Rudolf Harutyunyan connected in Blagodarnoye Village in August 2016 as a history instructor, he heard various stories around one of his future understudies, Mark (not his honest to goodness name). Rudolf was educated that Mark didn't partake in class—he didn't tune in to anyone, couldn't have cared less to come to class, and didn't know how to scrutinize or make—and a couple of teachers had surrendered him.

Rudolf met 13-year-old Mark in September, on the fundamental day of school. In the midst of the essential lesson, the understudies played an icebreaker preoccupation to end up plainly more familiar with each other, and Rudolf was flabbergasted to find that his wants of Mark were far from reality—Mark wasn't troublesome or defiant, he was as a general rule serene and calm.

Rudolf began driving after school practices and invited Mark to oblige him to complete his work. Check stayed behind reliably for two or three hours and Rudolf started demonstrating to him industry standards to scrutinize and create. Inside seven months, their constant work paid off and Mark began to feel great at school and among his companions.

Rudolf's understudy centered approach roused diverse educators. They began working with Mark more eagerly to ensure he was understanding his assignments and getting the opportunity to be discernibly productive in all subjects. Stamp's assurance created, and as the year went on, he started to express his firmly held conviction in the classroom more regularly. Today, Mark has made sense of how to examine and make, comes to class masterminded, and has started making mates with his classmates. With the assistance of Rudolf and his distinctive teachers, Mark has transformed into an attracted understudy who feels more significantly fused in school
